Revenue Financial Analyst

Fast-paced trust company seeks an experienced Revenue Financial Analyst to manage and coordinate all aspects of accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting high-level analysis of revenue, credit, expenses, and overhead.   • Qualified candidate will need proven analytical skills, investigative aptitude and computer competency
  • Prior audit or accounts-receivable experience is a plus
  • Candidate needs to be especially comfortable with a tight timeline environment
  • Utilizing online software, downloadable transaction reports and excel spreadsheets, candidate will perform revenue analysis to ensure proper revenue recognition and accounting
  • Candidate will need to provide accurate and friendly customer service to occasionally explain various transactions to our clients
  • A high level of self-sufficiency and ability to work through problems is critical for success
  • Due to the nature of the company being a startup, the candidate must be flexible and willing to wear multiple hats
  • Assist in regulatory inquiries, internal audits, and other examinations by keeping complete records
  • Interact with Compliance Management to ensure business processes remain compliant with Firm and Department policies and industry regulation
  • Know and understand the laws applicable to money laundering, to include the BSA, the USA PATRIOT Act, US Treasury AML guidelines, OFAC requirements and Suspicious Activity Reporting requirements
  • Review and analyze AML current trends and news in order to identify high-risk areas, counter-parties or keywords to incorporate into monitoring filters, rules, or profiles
  • Participate in additional projects as appropriate

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2-5 years’ experience in Banking or Finance
  • 4-year degree preferred with a preference toward Finance or Accounting
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of online banking
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and reconciling skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and resolve routine problems
  • Strong computer and accurate keyboarding skills
  • Not easily overwhelmed by large amounts of data and spreadsheets
  • Comfortable with working in a paperless office
  • Displays professional attitude
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with online research systems including web-based tools
  • Pro-actively assists co-workers as needed
  • Team player, able to use initiative and possess good judgment, strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
